Kevin Painter’s stage nickname is the “Artist” as he is one of the P.D.C. elite players who is sponsored by Unicorn.. Although Janine is Welsh originally she has settled with Kevin in Daventry, Northamptonshire where they now live. Considering Kevin only started playing in 1994 and the fact that he won the “England Open” the year afterwards in ‘95 and the “British Open” in ’96 he rapidly made a name for himself on the B.D.O. circuit, but his step up into the P.D.C. was a big one for him as he struggled for a while to become recognised as the player that he is.
2004 was an important year for Kevin as he gained much acclaim in that
year. He will probably never forget it either, because that was the year that he

Kevin
is a keen follower of Ipswich Town F.C. where he is also a season ticket and
shareholder. In fact he often plays wearing a blue shirt in honour of their
colours.
