MATTERS ARISING OUT OF MINUTES: The weeds have been taken out of the Spa Car-park.
We have a new volunteer: Jim Stewart - who is keeping the walk-through from Cliff Rd to The Uplands cared for.
TREASURER'S REPORT; Our Balance to date is £2,675.15p - please see the
attracted report from Jean.
It is MINUTED all the hard work by Tom with the hanging baskets, and he thinks the final balance for them should be £228.00.
QUIZ EVENING; Little Haywood Village Hall has been booked for FRIDAY 13th OCTOBER, 6.0 p.m. - 10.30 p.m.
(would Alan kindly make some tickets for the event please).
JUDGING DAY - THURSDAY 13th JULY.
We are all asked to be at the Parish Centre about 9.0 a.m ./9.30 a.m. to welcome the Judges: Robin Russell and Angela,...........
Coffee/Tea and Biscuits will be served (biscuits provided by Hannah)
A group photograph will be taken by Alan. for publicity purposes.
GREAT HAYWOOD: The route will be taken and Judges shown round by Pat and Marian - (Ann has also been involved). 1 3/4 hours, and then LUNCH at 12.30 p.m.
The lunch - sandwiches and cakes has been kindly undertaken by Cath.
LITTLE HAYWOOD after Lunch, the Judges taken round by Janet and Tom (Angela will be away).
At Crossheads it may be possible to have light refreshments. and then return to the Parish
"IT'S YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD" WEDNESDAY 19th JULY.
Start at The Red Lion at 9.0 a.m. Anne to take round the Judges. and will have a flask of coffee in the car, (or refreshments at
Cliff Road if time permits).
Route: Shugborough Terrace; Crossheads; Cliff Road; Marlborough Close; Mill Lane.

PRIVATE GARDEN COMPETITION: MONDAY 10th JULY. Tony and Clive Plant. start at 9.0 a.m. Tony will organize the Lunch. Anne to drive them round the Gardens
HANGING BASKETS, FLORAL DISPLAY, TUBS COMPETITION.
Ann J. is organizing the list, and the final decision will be taken by the two ladies from Stowe-by-Chartley, as last year.
A.O.B. "River of Flowers" - Amyas said the E & L. Meeting was very mishandled. and a Public Meeting will be held in the Parish Centre on
Tuesday 8th August at 7.30 p.m.
Anne said that St.Johns School have a very nice "Quiet Garden" and Anson School is to be visited on the
Pat has been to see Roseacre re: the culvert fencing - we have to find who is responsible for it, as it is unsafe and dangerous. The obstruction in the culvert needs lifting equipment - the Lengthsmen have been unable to move it. The Parish Clerk knows about this.
The Parish Clerk has also been asked about the grass on the Islands at The Garden Centre.
It needs cutting.
Walton Homes have replanted their Planter, and it has been replaced, Pat has put a small Planter in front of the "Great Haywood" entrance lettering.
LICENCE TO KILL SLUGS - this will be held by the two Lengthmen, but this is not acceptable and the Allotments people need to see the Parish Clerk.
At this point we had to stop the Meeting as we were out of time.
